IASA is an exciting student organization within UH’s Bauer College of

Business that offers students an opportunity to discover the dynamic

Internal Audit profession that’s continually broadening in scope and


Our organization strives to provide members with incredible networking

opportunities with companies through weekly Meet-the-Firm events,

monthly Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) luncheons, office visits, and

volunteer opportunities throughout the semester.

Additionally, we partner with the Houston Chapter of the Institute of

Internal Auditors (IIA) for our Mentorship Program to allow 

professionals and students to interact and help members gain a

deeper understanding of the profession. 


Our goal is to advocate Internal Audit as a career choice for

students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

IASA will accomplish this by supplementing classroom instruction

with professional development resources, networking 

opportunities, extracurricular activities, and social events.
